The Catalonian Association of Borings and Geotechnical Consultant Companies (ACESEG) englobes a group of companies moved by the intention of improving the quality in the field of the geological and geotechnical soil-investigation.

At the moment, there are eight companies belonging to ACESEG which have signed an agreement of fullfilment of Quality Protocol. The most important aims are: to preserve the associates' professional ethic and the demands of a high level quality in the services achieved.
The companies which form ACESEG have the capacity and the experience to establish the right grasp of the geotechnical studies and its most carefulness realization together with the loyal contribution of the geotechnical support to the Project Engineer and to the Contractor.

ACESEG has created a Geotechnical Advice Commitee as a consulting service in those problems exceeding the functions of an isolated company. This Committee is made up of members of ACESEG who, for a reasonable cost, will attend the consults, the technicians interested can formulate, either by the sides of the planification and the follow-up of the geotechnical tasks; interpretation of present reports, information about methods for reconnaissance of the subsoil or advice about rare geotechnical problems.
